Tong Yao (Jin Sha) is a lovely and optimistic girl. She accidentally discovered that she was suffering from a rare terminal disease. The sudden bad luck did not defeat her. On the contrary, she infected everyone around her with her tenacious vitality, including her divorced mother who smoked and drank heavily. The mother and daughter supported each other and worked hard to fight against fate until Tong Yao reached the end of her life.
