William Gauthier
¿Quién es William Gauthier?
Working in film for the better part of a decade, he got his start as an assistant director on several Montreal-based productions, including Quebec's #1 television series, District 31.
His directorial debut, Each Other, won the Best Short Drama Award at the 2023 Inside Film Festival. That same year, he was named the Best First Time Filmmaker by the Swedish International Film Festival, as well as earning Best Director nominations from both the Toronto Indie Shorts and the Snow Leopard Film Festival.
While his films are mostly rooted in the drama genre, he enjoys dabbling in many aspects of cinema to tell stories that explore the emotional core of complex characters and impact the audience with themes relating to family, resilience and the different faces of grief.
He is the President of Studio Vallion.
