¿Quién es Tone Sekelius?
Sekelius released her debut single "Awakening" in 2017, describing the experience of coming out as gay. Later that year, the single "One More in the Crowd" was released, which became the official song for Stockholm Pride 2017. She made her TV debut as a music artist on TV4's Sommarkrysset on July 29, 2017, performing "One More in the Crowd."
In February 2021, Sekelius came out as transgender in an interview with Aftonbladet and shared her name change to Tone. She simultaneously released a video titled Jag är trans on YouTube and a documentary (Mitt namn är Tone) on the web TV service Discovery+.
Sekelius participated in Melodifestivalen 2022, where she performed the song "My Way" in the second semifinal. The song qualified for the semifinal and later for the final, where she placed fifth.
In 2022, she also hosted the TV show Paradise. In Melodifestivalen 2023, Sekelius reached the final directly with her entry "Rhythm of My Show" after finishing second in the first semifinal.
In 2024, Sekelius won the VIP edition of the Swedish cooking competition show Sveriges mästerkock.
