During the mid to late 1980s, she ventured into hardcore uncensored underground photobooks, commonly known as "urabon."
Hashimoto expanded her career into pink films, making her debut in the genre with a role in "Misshitsuhen Taichōkyō" in 1985, directed by Sachi Hamano. She continued to work in pink films, gaining recognition and awards for her performances. Despite challenges faced by the pink film industry due to the rise of adult videos, Hashimoto remained a prominent figure.
She transitioned between pink films and mainstream cinema, even taking part in a superhero comedy titled "Daikansho Kamen" in 1992 and a small role in "Weather Woman" in 1995.
After a hiatus, Hashimoto returned to the pink film scene in 2002, collaborating with director Yutaka Ikejima for "Delivery Health Girl: The Moisture of Silken Skin." She also resumed work in adult videos and appeared in various productions, including those by Attackers.
Kyoko Hashimoto's career exemplifies her impact on both the AV and pink film industries, showcasing her versatility and enduring presence.
