¿Quién es Kianmehr Shabani?

Kianmehr Shabani was born in 2005 from Iran. He started his film and art studies in high school and at first, he wrote reviews for Iranian and world movies as an amateur. In 2022, he was selected as the best youth critic in the field of cinema and music in Mazandaran province and organized various meetings related to cinema issues. The first artistic project published by him was the music album "Blackmail" which was composed mostly of a few wordless pieces. Then, in the fall of 2022, he started making the experimental short film "Taxi and a little waste", which is considered an independent film and was inspired by the famous cinema of "Abbas Kiarostami". His film was examined in the main sections of the cultural and artistic festival "Ta Farda" in the 40th period and won the award for the best short film and the best director. After this well-received project, he worked as a project manager and screenwriter consultant in a short film project of the Tehran International Short Film Festival, and now he is preparing to make his second short film in Ghalibi “Non-Silent”.
