He gained international recognition for his role as Martin in the 2015 horror-thriller "The Stranger," directed by Guillermo Amoedo and produced by Eli Roth. In 2016, he starred as Josh in the science fiction film "Shortwave," directed by Ryan Gregory Phillips.
On television, Montt appeared as Carlos Pereira in both seasons of the TNT series "Good Behavior" (2016-2017), sharing the screen with Michelle Dockery and Juan Diego Botto.
