After graduating from Youngpa Girls' High School, Park attended Chung-Ang University while continuing her acting career. She graduated from Chung-Ang University in 2016 with a degree in theatre.
She won the Baeksang Arts Awards' "Most Popular Actress" award for the film "Cyrano Agency" (시라노;연애조작단, 2010). She received the "Directors Award" for her performance in "The Judge from Hell" at the 2024 SBS Drama Awards (2024 SBS 연기대상).
Park's older brother, Park Shin Won, is a guitarist and composer. She married fellow actor Choi Tae Joon on January 22, 2022. Their first son was born on May 31, 2022.
